Prince George's County Public Safety Communications
The phone number for this division is 301-352-1200. This is also a non-emergency number, for reporting criminal activity. This number will put you in touch with a Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) operator that will forward your information to the dispatch center for the radio call assignment. You may ask for a University Park (UP) officer to respond, and they will if they are available and not tied up on another call. If the UP officer is not available a PGPD officer will respond. PGPD do serve as back up officers to the University Park Police Department (UPPD) and assist in many emergency situations.
