Carrina Bucknor is honored to serve as the new Town Treasurer for the Town of University Park. She brings over 15 years of experience in financial management, grant oversight, and public sector accounting, with a strong focus on transparency, efficiency, and community impact.
Before joining University Park, Carrina served as Director of Finance for Arundel Community Development Services, where she led budgeting and compliance for a variety of federal, state, and local grant programs. She has a passion for helping organizations operate with financial integrity and long-term sustainability.
Carrina grew up in College Park, MD and now lives in Laurel, Maryland, with her husband and their four children. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, organizing, decorating, event planning, and keeping a tidy, welcoming home. She looks forward to contributing her skills to the Town’s operations and connecting with residents in meaningful ways.
