Council Meeting Tonight
Neighbors -
The Council will meet tonight, March 20th, beginning at 7:30 p.m. The Council meeting will be conducted remotely with no in-person meeting attendance. To attend the virtual meeting, please see the Zoom and other connection information in the left-hand column.
Tonight's agenda is fairly light. The only formal action will be to approve our last set of minutes, but there will be a moment for staff updates during which time the Treasurer will make some comments.
We are going into budget season. My first draft budget is due to the Council by April 1st. If you have any comments about the budget, you are welcome to make them during the public comment period tonight or through email directly to me.
Tonight's Agenda is posted on the Agenda Center of the Town's website (http://www.upmd.org/agendacenter).
Public Participation:
Participants who join the video/audio conference will be muted during the meeting except for Mayor, Council, and staff. Participants will have the opportunity to speak during Public Comment - agenda item #5. During that time, all participants will be taken off mute. If you would like to comment, please state your name and Mayor Biermann will call on you to speak. Public comments are generally limited to three minutes.
Please share this with neighbors who may not be on the Mayor’s email list. University Park residents wishing to be added to this list or removed from it can subscribe or unsubscribe via the Notify Me feature on the Town website at www.upmd.org. You may email me directly at mayorbiermann@upmd.org.
