Council Meeting This Monday
Neighbors -
The Council will meet this Monday evening, February 6th, beginning at 7:30 p.m. The Council meeting will be conducted remotely with no in-person meeting attendance. To attend the virtual meeting, please see the Zoom and other connection information in the left-hand column.
The Council will receive a presentation from Veo Ride about the status of their operations in town, which will likely include an update on the drop off locations around town and their activities to ensure timely pickup of their bikes and scooters. Additionally, the Council will consider the following items:
- A second reading of the mid-year budget adjustments
- A permit for PEPCO's vegetation management operations
- An Arbor Day proclamation
- Adoption of a Bee City resolution
- Designation of April as "No Mow" Month to support pollinator-friendly habits
- A policy for responding to town resident requests for traffic calming devices
I urge you to review the full meeting Agenda, with many supporting details, for items of interest to you. The Agenda is posted on the Agenda Center of the Town's website (http://www.upmd.org/agendacenter).
