Council Meeting This Tuesday

The Council will meet this Tuesday evening, January 17th, beginning at 7:30 p.m. A closed session will meet from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The Council meeting will be conducted remotely with no in-person meeting attendance. To attend the virtual meeting, please see the Zoom and other connection information in the left-hand column.

The Council will consider three items in the next meeting:

- A second reading of an Emergency Parking Ordinance on the south side of Clagett Pineway from Woodberry Street to Clagett Road

- A mid-year budget adjustment/transfer of funds as recommended by the Town Treasurer in a December 22nd, 2022 memo

- Approval of election hours for the town's municipal election on Tuesday, May 9th, 2023

Public Participation:
Participants who join the video/audio conference will be muted during the meeting except for Mayor, Council, and staff. Participants will have the opportunity to speak during Public Comment - agenda item #5. During that time, all participants will be taken off mute. If you would like to comment, please state your name and Mayor Biermann will call on you to speak. Public comments are generally limited to three minutes.
 
Public comments or questions may also be made by emailing the Town Clerk TC Hegeman at thegeman@upmd.org. All public comments will be provided to the Mayor and Council prior to the Council meeting.
