Council Meeting This Monday
The Council will meet this Monday evening, October 3rd, beginning at 7:30 p.m. The Council meeting will be conducted remotely with no in-person meeting attendance. To attend the virtual meeting, please see the Zoom and other connection information in the left-hand column.
The Council will consider three items in the next meeting:
- A Proclamation honoring town residents Mike and Laura Donnelly for their volunteer work in the community
- A proposed speed limit ordinance that would lower the town speed limit from 25MPH to 20MPH
- Transfer of funds to cover certain town expenses
I urge you to review the full meeting Agenda, with many supporting details, for items of interest to you. The Agenda is posted on the Agenda Center of the Town's website (http://www.upmd.org/agendacenter).
Participants who join the video/audio conference will be muted during the meeting except for Mayor, Council, and staff. Participants will have the opportunity to speak during Public Comment - agenda item #5. During that time, all participants will be taken off mute. If you would like to comment, please state your name and Mayor Biermann will call on you to speak. Public comments are generally limited to three minutes.
Public comments or questions may also be made by emailing the Town Clerk TC Hegeman at firstname.lastname@example.org. All electronic comments must be submitted by 12PM on October 3rd, 2022. All public comments will be provided to the Mayor and Council prior to the Council meeting.
