Neighbors --

Please come out to the Town’s National Out event TONIGHT from 6-9 p.m. on the Town Field.  This annual event brings us together to increase awareness of safety and crime prevention, and to strengthen relationships among community members and their local police departments.  This is brought to us by the University Park Police Department, and there will be a lot going on.

 What happens at National Night Out?

• Lock your doors, turn on outside lights and come down to spend the evening with the families, neighbors and friends at the Town Field
• Activities for the young and young at heart
• Meet representatives from community resources
• Police officers will be there to listen to concerns and answer questions

 “Pickle ball ambassador” Shari Sternberg will be on-site as well with information about pickle ball in Town.  The Town is about to stripe the tennis courts to also accommodate pickle ball.  Look for her along the park path to learn about the game.
