Council Meeting This Monday

The Council will meet this Monday evening, June 21. The open meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m., at which time the Council will move immediately to go into closed session.
A closed session has been called to begin at 7:00 p.m. to discuss (i) the appointment, employment, assignment, promotion, discipline, demotion, compensation, removal, resignation or performance evaluations of appointees, employees, or officials over whom it has jurisdiction; or (ii) any other personnel matter that effects one or more specific individuals; to consider the acquisition of real property for a public purpose and matters directly related to the acquisition; and to consult with Counsel to obtain legal advice.
The open meeting will resume at 7:30 p.m. The Council meeting will be conducted entirely remotely with no in-person meeting attendance. Join both open meetings as noted in the Zoom and other connection information.

Presentation-- The 22nd District Senator and Delegates
Senator Paul Pinsky, Delegate Anne Healey, Delegate Alonzo Washington, and Delegate Nicole Williams from the 22nd Legislative District will brief Council on the 2021 General Assembly Session and legislative issues of interest.

Consent Agenda -- There are two items on the Consent Agenda. Consult the Agenda for details.
- To install a 4’ fence at 4302 East West Highway.
- To install a 4’ x 37’ retaining wall at the front of the house and a 34” (maximum) retaining wall on one side of the driveway at 6804 40th Avenue.
Public Comment
Mayor, Council, and Committee Comments and Reports
Resolution – Adoption of a resolution recognizing the service of Sarah Elder to the community.
Recognition – Recognize departing Councilmembers Schultz, Verrill, and Caskey for their years of volunteer service on the Council.
Amend Garage Lease – To approve amending the current garage lease as recommended by the Town Administrator.
