A Special Meeting has been called of the Common Council, Town of University Park to begin at 11 a.m. Saturday April 10. The Council meeting will be conducted entirely remotely via Zoom with no in-person meeting attendance.
 
The Council will meet in its judicial capacity to consider an appeal of a determination by the Supervisors of Elections regarding residency requirements for candidates for Council per Section 302 of the Town Charter. The appellant is Mr. Brendan Murray of Woodberry Street. The meeting is called per Section 304(a) and Section 503(e) of the Town Charter.
 
The meeting will be open that the public may observe, though public comment will not be permitted. The Council may deliberate out of public view.
