In celebration of the Fall BioBlitz in the Anacostia Watershed from Sept 11 - 14, a second evening of moth observations is planned for the University Park meadow.
The event is planned for Saturday Sept. 13, 8:30pm - 10pm. Rain date is Sunday Sept 14.
The UP meadow is located along Adelphi Road, across from the Prince George's Community Center. Look for the large white sheet lit up by UV light at the end of the meadow nearest the Tot Lot.
Everyone is welcome! Flashlights, bug spray, and lawn chairs are helpful items to bring to the event. Stay for as long or as little an amount of time that works best for you. A fun event for all ages!
