The election on May 7, 2024 is for the offices of Mayor and Councilmembers in Wards 1, 3, and 7.
The deadline to submit your candidate packet is 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 8.
If you miss the April 8 deadline, you may still submit a candidate packet, however, you will be considered a qualified write-in candidate. The deadline to submit your qualified write-in candidate packet is 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 2. Your name will not appear on the ballot as a qualified write-in.
Each candidate must submit a Candidate Petition and a Financial Disclosure. For more information and links to the required forms, visit www.upmd.org/elections.
