As of October 16, University Park's self-response rate for the 2020 Census is 91.2%, the highest rate of any municipality in the state of Maryland. We surpassed our 2010 census response rate of 86.10%. Our 2020 response rate is ranked 27th in the entire country! The state of Maryland ranked 9th in the U.S. for self-response following the close of the Census - beating out Pennsylvania (69.6%), Delaware (64.9%), the District of Columbia (63.9%), and West Virginia (56.2%).
