The property at which the search was performed is owned by Joel Biermann. We understand that Mr. Biermann has now been arrested by the FBI on child pornography charges. The Town has no additional information at this time.
Mr. Biermann served on the Town Council from June 2020-June 2022 and as the Town Mayor from June 2022-June 2024. He no longer has an official position with the Town. He is a private citizen, and the Town has no contact with and cannot comment on his activities.
These are serious charges, and the Town is ready to assist as requested.
