The election on May 7, 2024 is for the offices of Mayor and Councilmembers in Wards 1, 3, and 7.
The deadline to submit your candidate packet if you want your name to appear on the ballot is 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 8.
If you miss the April 8 deadline, you may still submit your candidate packet however, you will be considered a qualified write-in candidate. The deadline to submit your qualified write-in candidate packet is 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 2. Your name will not appear on the ballot as a qualified write-in.
Each candidate must submit a Candidate Petition and a Financial Disclosure. For more information and links to the required forms, visit www.upmd.org/elections.
