[ARCHIVED] Crape Myrtle Tree Pests Coming to UP!

Unfortunately, two serious pests of crape myrtle from their eastern Asian native range have also arrived in Maryland - crape myrtle aphid (CMA) and crape myrtle bark scale (CMBS) - and as a result, it is unlikely that these trees will be "pest-free" or "low-maintenance" for the foreseeable future.
